Pete Crow-Armstrong and Corbin Carroll will represent the U.S.

In a recent announcement, the Team USA roster for the upcoming 2026 World Baseball Classic expanded to include talented outfielders. Chicago Cubs' Pete Crow-Armstrong and Arizona Diamondbacks' Corbin Carroll are the latest additions to the squad.
Managed by Mark DeRosa, Team USA previously revealed Aaron Judge, Cal Raleigh, and Paul Skenes as part of their lineup. Speaking at the MLB Awards, DeRosa emphasized the need for youthful energy in the team, especially highlighting the presence of the formidable Aaron Judge in right field.
Both Crow-Armstrong and Carroll had outstanding seasons, showcasing their dual-threat capabilities by achieving 30 home runs and 30 stolen bases each. Their impressive performances led to top-10 finishes in the National League MVP race, ultimately claimed by Shohei Ohtani.
At 23 years old, Crow-Armstrong displayed his power and speed with a .247 batting average, 31 homers, 95 RBIs, and 35 stolen bases during his second full season with the Cubs. On the other hand, 25-year-old Carroll contributed significantly to the Diamondbacks with a .259 average, 31 home runs, 84 RBIs, 17 triples, and 32 stolen bases.
